Computer Mice

In my many years working as an occupational therapist with work related injuries, I often could not find the piece of equipment that I was looking for. Whether it be a left handed mouse, a trackball etc. I have now built up a good catalogue of input devices that should cater for most people using computers. Following are most of my range, and please, if there is a product that you are interested in that is not included in these pages, please ring. We may well have already sourced it or are able to source it for you.

E-Quill AirObic Mouse

E Quill Mouse is a popular mouse in our range. We are very happy to be able to supply another quality mouse with both right and left handed options.
The E Quill is available in onyx or pearl, right or left handed versions. Have a look at some more specific information now
We have received excellent feedback regarding the shape and comfort of the E-Quill. Please take the time to look at their clickless software as well. The combination of EQuill Mouse and Clickless Software has helped many of our customers.

The Contour Design "Perfit" Mouse, Optical Perfit Mouse and Classic Plus Mouse.

The Contour Perfit mouse provides the ultimate in user comfort and sizing. The mouse is available for both right and left handed users in five sizes for the right hand and three for the left. The Perfit is produced for a wide range of computers and is currently available for ADB Macs, PS2, serial IBM compatibles, USB and SUN. The variety of sizes makes it a suitable mouse for everyone, from a child to a large man. It also features 3 programmable buttons, which make it preferable for users of CAD systems. The Contour Perfit is the perfect mouse for a child to use. It introduces correct positioning for the hand, an important concept for parents to consider A sound investment for the future particularly for children who play mouse controlled computer games and use educational software.
The new optical versions add the latest technology to the unique design of the original Perfit Mouse. A high precision optical sensor provides excellent cursor control. The Perfit Mouse Optical (PMO) places a scroll wheel above the thumb support, rather than on the top of the mouse to reduce the strain on the index finger, which is already heavily used for the primary mouse click. At the bottom of the integrated Thumb Support is the innovative two-position side rocker switch which gives quick and effortless access to two additional programmable buttons.
The Classic Plus (PMO5)does not have the scroll wheel, for people who prefer not to use one.

Contour Design Rollermouse Pro

The Contour Rollermouse Pro helps you to stop reaching for your mouse and improve your productivity.

Rollermouse puts mouse control at the centre of the alpha section of the keyboard, eliminating the need for any reaching to use the mouse. Suitable for right and left handed users, this product has won the "Call Centre Magazine's Product of the Year 2003"

Please download further information here, or visit the Contour website on www.contourdesign.com to view research and movies on its success.
I believe these are the best thing that's happened in the mouse related input device business in a long time.

3M Ergonomic Optical Mouse (previously marketed as The Anir Vertical Mouse)

The mouse, that is shaped like a pilot's control stick, promises improved comfort when working with a mouse. It comes in 2 sizes and 2 colours and is available for use with both IBM compatible and iMac computers.

I have had some excellent results with injured clients using the Renaissance Mouse, reporting increased capacity to work and reduced pain symptoms.

This mouse is quite different in design and you should give yourself a few days to get used to it.

The Whale Mouse

The Whale Mouse is an ergonomically designed mouse with an adjustable contoured palm rest, encouraging neutral wrist, hand and finger positioning. It easily adjusts within the palm rest to fit any hand size and can be used either on the right or the left. It features 3 buttons, with the centre button custom programmable. The larger size of the mouse promotes the use of larger arm muscles and minimises any sharp, quick wrist movements. An excellent alternative for people who want to have only one mouse, but would like the flexibility of using either the right or the left hand in its use.
